As of 3am on April 9th, my family will be in Japan. We will arrive in Tokyo and spend a couple days before traveling south and then northwest into the Japanese Alps. Check back here for updates of our trip.

If you go to Kyoto please buy some of the sweets for sale in the train station. They look kind of like triangular raviolo - but with sweet bean paste inside. They are so good. I like the ones in the white dough - the green ones are tea flavored. (Was that a big enough hint?) lol
